Use our Covid-Safe scheme to protect your business, your employees and your customers by managing the risk of Covid-19.
Showcase your independent brand as a responsible place to eat, drink and shop by displaying a Covid-Safe certificate on your window front.
How it works
Use our guidance and template to complete a Covid-19 risk assessment.
Implement the control measures identified on the risk assessment document.
Initial audit visit
We’ll then carry out an initial audit to verify your site is ready to trade.
Proudly display your Covid-Safe certificate on your window and online.
Review audit visits
Book a review audit every every 8 weeks to maintain safety levels.
Pay what you can
In response to the Coronavirus (Covid-19) crisis and the associated financial pressure on our client base of independent hospitality and retail, we have switched our business model. You’ll now only pay what you can afford instead of a fixed price.
Registration (steps 1-4) – £195
Review audits (step 5) – £75 each
Businesses who are Covid-Safe
How do I access the risk assessment and the action plan?
Get in touch with us to start the process. We’ll send you a copy of both tools so you can get started straight away.
What happens if guidance or regulations change between now and when I open?
We’re actively monitoring the updates from Government and from Regulatory bodies. If and when new guidance emerges, we will update the action plan and resend you the updated version.
How will I know when I'm ready for the audit?
You’ll be ready for our visit when you’ve completed the risk assessment and the action plan. This may be a few weeks before opening for some sites, or a few weeks after opening for some others.
Will I definitely achieve the Covid-Safe certificate?
It depends on the results of our audit. During the visit, we’ll evaluate your responses to the risks identified and the actions you’ve carried out to make your site safe – if you’ve successfully worked through the action plan, then we’ll issue a Covid-Safe certificate. If we feel that some actions require further consideration then we’ll recommend those to be completed and re-assess your site later.
Pay what you can - what's the catch?
No catch. We’re doing our bit for the sector we love and serve. Now is not a time for profiteering – it’s a time for pulling together. The suggested price for this package is £195. If you can afford that great, that would be really helpful in our bid to help as many businesses as possible. If you can’t afford it then pay what you can.
